Registration is open for the 2017 Young Women Strong Leaders Conference, set for March 24, from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Grand Rapids Community College, Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center.
YWSL is a one-day conference designed for collegiate women to focus on building practical skillsets that will empower them on their career paths. The conference is sponsored by Michigan ACE Women’s Network, Michigan Women’s Commission, and the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education.

The keynote speaker will be Megan Sall, who serves as an engagement manager at CQL, a custom software development firm in Grand Rapids whose mission is to connect people and data for good. . Sall holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in public administration from Grand Valley State University.
The conference will feature other West Michigan leaders from a variety of career backgrounds who will discuss things they wish they knew, and how to find ways to connect, learn, grow and evolve a career pathway.
The YWSL Conference aims to provide female college students with the tools necessary to become leaders on their campuses and in their communities — today and into the future — through a series of sessions that explore everything from finding a mentor to career exploration to personal enrichment.
